Donna Mast lives and grew up in Barrhead, Alberta . During all that time she has enjoyed painting, drawing and any form of art.
She was fortunate to be in the community where she was affiliated with a number of other artists, art clubs, and instructors. For this reason she has been able to attend many varied courses, workshops and classes to further her education in art.
Donna has concentrated a lot of her work in watercolor, but recently has become more diverse in subject matter, including landscape, portrait, human figure, along with different mediums such as acrylic, liquid acrylic, gouache, oil, pastel, mixed media.
She has displayed her art in varied venues such as: Barrhead Art Club, Westlock Art Club, Stony Plain Multi Cultural Centre, Alberta Community Art Clubs Association, Red Strap Art Market, U of A Art Gallery, Fort Saskatchewan, Recently displaying and winning first place in water-media in Lake Havasu City in Arizona.
Donna says: “I want to be able to relay a feeling in each painting I do, and if the person viewing the picture can sense that feeling then I feel I have accomplished a lot with a paint brush.”
